ok so now I have to keep my shared plan when I buy a reseller account?

"We cannot allow existing customers to upgrade existing shared or reseller plans to the "temporary promotional" plans."

this keeps getting more confusing

Ooooh no.

If you already have a shared, you can cancel your shared and order a reseller. Reseller accounts have to be ordered anyway on our site since they go on reseller-only servers. It's not technically an upgrade when you go to shared from reseller, at anytime.

all surpass promos have had this exclusion.

You can't cancel what you have to get the better deal. What you could do is Buy the better deal, then, after a few months, let the shared plan expire.

Surpass is trying to stimulate NEW business, not canablize OLD.

When they had the last 2-4-1, I bought a new plan. So now I have 3.

Well, bugger. I guess this means existing OC plans will not get an upgrade any time soon like the other resellers...

Wow, again, another great promo from surpass. I'm seriously thinking of buying a new plan but I already have 2. LaughLaughLaugh.

Sounds great!

A question: what if you buy a shared plan during promotion time and like 6 months later you want to upgrade to a bigger plan. Does your upgrade (new plan) also get double capacity or does it get the regular capacity?

Just wondering.

I know this is a stupid question but how does an account expire?

I would guess you choose not to renew your old subscription, but keep it active until which time your renewal comes up on it.
