By upgrade do you mean get the new Power plan specs? If you submit a ticket we can change your space and bandwidth to the new amounts.

As long as you have the Power plan, you keep your free account.
So you are saying that right now I am paying $65 a yr for 2 accounts (because my second one was free) and I get 5GB of space on each account. But, if I submit a ticket, I can upgrade to the new power plan which would be $60 a yr (because my second account would still be free) and I would now have 200GB of space for each account???

If so then where do I submit the ticket to? Accounting or sales or service? I'm guessing accounting?

i am in agreement about the dedis. the reseller plans keep getting bumped to massive upgrades and its hard not to reconsider going back to it because of the cost. i know the arguement is about more resources but i still think i would feel more comfortable on a dual core system reseller than a celeron dedi.

That being said, i have been checking back every month or so for upgrades or changes for the dedi plans with hopes of a special or an upgrade of plans offered. not that my dedi is a resource hog but i was debating more ram but felt it would have been money illspent if a more appealing plan came to existance.

i am looking forward to the new dedi plans to be announced and hoping that attractive plans are in the making

Wow, the new plans are amazing! I'm a little confused about my account status, though.

I (tried to) upgrade during the Double Promo. Previously had a Power, upgraded to Deluxe. Paid for yearly ($110) on Nov 30th. First of all, I wasn't ever emailed about confirmation of my payment from Surpass (only from 2CO), second, I also didn't receive any confirmation that my plan was upgraded to Deluxe. (In fact, in December, I got notification that I was almost out of disk space, which, having Power's old 3GB space, yes, I was close to maxing out.)

So now I have a few questions. Now the Deluxe package is just way too much space, and I still can live off of the Power for now. Can I downgrade? If not, is it possible to get a refund on the $10 extra I paid?

Thanks.

It has half the resources of the first regular reseller package, and $5 less per month valued on it's yearly option. You do save $30 from the Bronze reseller's yearly price, and $30 more from the OC10.

It's fair from what I see.
The bandwidth was bumped and price dropped a touch, but the space and bandwidth for this has never kept up with the other plans. The OC plans have always been excluded from the bumps in space. I will agree that they did update the bandwidth a bit, but compared to the bumps that other plans have received, it is not a lot. The "bang for the buck" is not there any more. You might as well go for the bronze. You pay $30 per year more for double everything. Unfortunately, I feel cornered as I cannot upgrade my accounts from OC10 to Bronze because I would lose the free account or have to pay double. If the specs for the OC plans would meet halfway for the same price (15/1500), I think that would give it back its luster.

* Do not take this criticism of the OC plans as dissatisfaction with Surpass service or past offerings. Like I said before, I feel caged now that I have the BOGO promo and can't get out without more than doubling what I have to pay out. If I am wrong in that I can upgrade all accounts while maintaining the BOGO under the upgraded account specs, then I would feel much better and not "locked in". If I upgrade one, I would like to upgrade all.

That's what I wanted to know, because I got the BOGO as well. It'd be nice if we got bumped up as well.

I was wondering if I could get a clarification on the reseller packages. One of the major perks, as I remember, of the OC-10 plan was that Surpass hosted your domain for free with the same specs as the rest of the plan. With the new price difference, I am considering moving to the Bronze package, however, if I did, would my personal site be included in that 20 / 2000 or would it be separated as it is currently? I can not find that information on the site anywhere. Also, were there any other perks for the OC-10 that I would lose by upgrading?

Thanks!
