I have a question.

I managed to sign up for the promotion yesterday and today I received the invoice. I made a new domain and all that and I have to pay $16.99. Is it suppose to be that way? I'm confused.. What happened to the $1?

ldschwalbe,

Please remember that this is a user forum, and that Brandon and I are both fellow Surpassers, and do not officially represent Surpass in any way. We just try to post to help each other (each in our own way).

That being said, I'm sorry that your first transaction with Surpass has left you less than thrilled. This really is a great place to host. I've been here for almost 3 years now, and can't imagine taking my business anywhere else. Hopefully, given time, you'll feel the same way.

So, welcome to Surmunity. If you have any problems (other than this one, because we honestly can't help you on it), feel free to post it, and we'll do the best we can. You can put in a support ticket of course, however:

1. You may get an answer faster than through support (just because there are so many of us, not because support is bad - they're actually very good).
2. You get to make new friends.
3. Your problem (and resolution) may help someone facing the same issue.

John

Failure is not an option. It comes standard with all Microsoft products.

Hi,

If you signed up and chose to register a new domain name, that is 15.99. Plus the 1 dollar hosting.

If you open a helpdesk ticket with sales they can remove the domain name order.

But if you don't have a domain name that you would like to use, of course you should keep that

What is the point of a coupon if a company should apply a promotion to everyone? almost every billing system i have has support for coupons so giving discounts based on a coupon code must be fairly common practice, otherwise these applications would have like, temp discounting on x plans?

as a note to visitors, surpass servers are extremely powerful. Their shared hosting servers have 2 Dual core CPUs and the highest CPU usage i've seen is a tiny 2%. PHP and Mysql dynamic sites like joomla run very fast on surpass servers.

Kayla, I have a different domain name I would like to use (again) on my new reseller. I'm a bit too embarrassed to go to support, because I bugged poor Josh several times the other day. The new domain is ho-sting dot com {I bought all them "ho-sting" thangs}

I'm considering a logo contest. Grand prize for the best entry will be my gratitude.

Josh is a real good guy, too. Very professional and understanding.

Thanks, all y'all!

I have replied to ldschwalbe in the helpdesk, I hope we can all be happy and coupon-n-jelly filled again.
