This should be sweet:

Web Disks allow cPanel interface users to mount their hosting account as a network drive. This means that they can drag and drop files to their hosting acount to update their site. FTP or other publishing programs are no longer needed tp modify their site.

Agreed on their site redesign and apparently a cPanel feature update and look. Very nice. What are the risks of updating it from the cPanel update feature on my dedicated server?

What about language files? Are they going to be updated as well?

And what about RVSkin? Are you still going to be offering it? I've been using it lately instead of the original cPanel, because it has a complete Brazilian-Portuguese translation.

Is Surpass upgrading from Apache 1.3 to 2.2 as well? Apache 2.2 performs better.

They generally have to go with what Cpanel supports.

I am sure they will pretty much follow the update stage as Cpanel releases them:

From: http://blog.cpanel.net/?p=10

Quote:
Due to the massive amount of changes to the cPanel and WHM code base, cPanel will be releasing this upgrade in multiple stages. The first stages will contain the majority of the new features and code, including the new domain owner interface. This first stage is currently available in the CURRENT branch and can be downloaded by running /scripts/upcp on the CLI or ‘Upgrade to Latest Version’ in WHM. The later updates will be smaller and more focused, including such features as Apache 2.0.x and 2.2.x support. It is recommended to maintain your current upgrade branch to ensure a smooth transition to cPanel 11.
