Well, Accounting emailed me and apparently, they had to manual transfer my account from the old billing system to the new one. Eh, I'm surprised they didn't do this last year as the announcement I saw in the FAQ said all old accounts would be moved as of May 1, 2006.

Anyhow, I was able to purchase my BOGO account! I've been very pleased with my first BOGO account from 2004!

I'm having the same problem. I can't login to the new accounting system and by logging into the old system it just sends me to the new system that refuses to accept my info. I also have opened up a ticket and hope that it all gets straightened out before the promo ends.

Well 15+ hours after submitting a ticket and all I have heard about my ticket is that they need to move me over to the new billing system, (that was at 1:12 PM Surpass time today), and that I need to wait patiently for them to email my new logon info. At this rate the BOGO promotion will be over and I'll be waiting for next years event since I'm heading out of town for the weekend and will most likely have no internet connection.

Not a very happy camper at this point.

Nope, I just looked at the bogo page again and now saw this -
The promotion is strictly for new accounts and domain names not associated with any of your existing accounts. You are not allowed to move domains from other servers over to your new accounts.
I had been thinking of moving some personal sites onto their own and keeping my reseller just for well, reselling. Something along the lines of not pooping where one eats but not quite. LOL.
I wasn't going to cancel the reseller.
Oh well. It's money I didn't have to spend and no won't.

SnakeMan .. this thread has been posted here for over a month. Kayla has been telling everyone about the new billing system. I requested that my billing login be changed about 10 days ago in anticipation of taking advantage of the BOGO. And it was done immediately; in fact within an hour or so.

I'm sure they're busier than one armed paper hangers right now with all the new BOGO signups, and I do have to mention that when I signed up on July 5, within 24 hours I was given my new account information.

Don't be discouraged and don't blame Surpass for this. I really don't believe that is their fault. You can subscribe to threads like this one (and "Announcements" especially) so that you don't miss important information like this.

I hope it works out for you. :-)

YEAH!!! Surpass has come through... I finally received my updated information and was able to sign up for another OC10 plan AND get it ordered and confirmed before heading out of town for the weekend.

WTG! Surpass!
