cPanel has announced that the cPanel/WHM system will no longer support the Mbox mail format as of August 1, 2008.

We had previously contacted all dedicated server clients regarding cPanel 11 updates, and included instructions advising the conversion of the mail format on all dedicated servers using the cPanel/WHM system.

If your server is still using the Mbox mail format, and this update is not performed before August 1, 2008, incoming email messages will not be delivered to the mailboxes until the conversion is completed. Conversion may take hours, so this could cause considerable issues for you and/or your clients hosted from your server.
