Refresh / URL loading problem Problem

I wonder if anyone can help me. I have a problem when clicking on URLs on some links on my web site when using Internet Explorer. What happens is this, once I click on a link I get a blank page and the page doesn't load until I press the refresh button. It appears to only happen when accessing the site from behind a proxy server but am not 100% sure on this one. Other non IE browsers work fine. I have tried uploading the site to a different host and there are no problems when I do this. It only seems to occur on Surpass when using IE from behind a proxy server. Has anyone experienced similar problems or has any ideas what could be causing this or how it could be fixed?

it might help to post some links.

as far as a proxy server causing an issue when accessing - that's going to come down to how the proxy server is configured.

I can access other web sites from work except the one I have hosted on surpass. The only common factors I can find is using IE from work on surpass. If I take out any of these factors all the links work. If all these factors are involved then a lot of the links load a blank page until the refresh button is pressed. I can't post links cos the site I am developing is password protected at the moment until it's finished!

Using Mozilla from work is fine. Using IE at home is fine. Using IE from work with the site loaded onto a different host is fine!

Maybe your browser settings in IE are screwed up in some way.

Also: Server name...Site Address...put those in your sig.

this is just a suggestion, but try removing the password protection temporarily.

Maybe this is something being caused by your connection at work, or the equipment there? Are you all actually in the same location when you work on it away from home?

Nope, we all work in completely different places. And the bug only occurs when access the site from our work places from Internet Explorer.

The bug can't be IE specific becuase, it works in IE at home.
It can't be a worplace specific problem because we all work in different places and it works fine in other browsers.
It works fine from work if we upload our code to a local environment or another hosting company so the problem seems to relate to something to do with surpass!
