WYSIWYG editor... cant install!
i am trying to install a WYSIWYG editor... and with no luck! dont know why... :-(
it keeps giving me errors like the following when trying to install HTMLAREA3_XTD: ------------ Warning: mkdir(/home/xxxxxxx/public_html/mambots/editors/htmlarea3_xtd/): Permission denied in /home/romunity/public_html/administrator/components/com_installer/admin.installer.php on line 190 Upload mambot - Failed Failed to create directory "/home/xxxxxxx/public_html/mambots/editors/htmlarea3_xtd" ------------ Currently i have only TinyMCE WYSIWYG Editor as it came with my Fantastico Mambo installation. and even tho i have downloaded the latest HTMLAREA3_XTD editor for 4.5.1 STILL it does not work... and TINYMCE sucks. .: Lau |

have u seen the readme that usually comes with these? the CHMOD might need to be changed of the folders that it says.

all the permissions are in order.... ITS FUNKY.... and im so frstrated!
it is being installed as a mambot... i am doing everthing according to the book. could this be Fantastico's fault? .:Lau |

i just downloaded HTMLAREA3_XTD and installed it. Everything went fine. make sure you CHMOD those directories that it says on the bottom of the screen on the install screen.
