I've changed the MX record but now I'm being asked to change the CNAME in the DNS as well is it possible to do this through the control panel?

Details would be good... Changing the MX??? Through Cpanel? I never realized you could go that detailed into the DNS records through Cpanel...
I haven't really ever paid much attention to the Cpanel, but I know that a MX record is a mail server entry, and the CNAME is basically an alias for a server/machine. Who/what is asking you to change the CNAME? Please provide more info on this subject and maybe someone here can help you..

You can change the MX record via the Mail section in Cpanel
I have signed up with a company who will offer free email to my visitors. ie. blazebayley.com email but they need both these entries changing to point to their servers otherwise they cannot properly handle the email sent to blazebayley.comQuote:

I see... makes sense I suppose... Just send over a ticket to support and maybe they can get this fixed up for you...
