If anyone uses the search engine submit in their control panel have you noticed that your site dosnt actually get submitted anywhere? I checked the results section after it attempts to submit and all of the results are page moved or a loop or whatever... :cen:

I know what you are talking about, that feature in the CPanel does need to be updated. I am going to research on it.

But of course, you do know that the only search engine that even matters is Google, right? Google=Yahoo=AOL= everyone will find you if you have a good page rank and good keywords. I don't even suggest using the site submission tool, at least until it gets an update.

I heard Google is like spyware. It places a cookie on your computer without you knowing and it records everything (well almost) like what sites you visit, what you download, and even how many keystrokes you make. <_< I read that in an article somewhere online...don't remember where though.
If it does do that though... :tank: to them.

Mmm, I dont know about the government thing, they are restricted as to what they can do by the constitution, plus if they are watching, they arent watching you or me, they are watching 'serious' threats to their systems and/or national security or both.

Make sure you header tags are clean with no unecessary code, your site URL's should not look like this:

http://www.yourdomain.com/blah/test.php?=o...le2040389830948

google just says "uhhh, no" and leave

the most important thing is have your link on OTHER PEOPLES site, and have links on your site to their site, google looks at that as a sign of longevity of your website.
