what i suggested initially should work from what i see on wordpress forum
http://wordpress.org/support/topic.php?id=19663 also that interval is recommended at 15 minutes, not 1 ( which is better from a resource level ). my last suggestion - wipe out the original job. then create a new job that outputs to dev/null on a 15 minute interval. |

Sam, thanks for your help, I saw that before, I spent several hours trying to come up with a solution before I posted here thinking it was somethign to do with cron. I will go back to wordpress support. Thank you for your help.

I just set up wordpress and a cron entry as described above (including the > /dev/nul part). Everything's working, but I'm still ending up with files in my root directory.
I may be a bit dense, but what did you guys figure out about this? Thanks! ---------------- adambier.com [S65] Last edited by abier; February 27th, 2005 at 5:12 PM.. |
