More Security Problems for phpBB - Page 2

Back on the topic - a bit. Speaking of updates to phpBB - ever since I did I haven't been able to create moderators. I get this error regarding SQL syntax and admin_ug_auth.php. And I search phpBB.com and can't find any help. (The last time I posted there I got my arse chewed out, too. Very disconcerting.)

I can post the exact error - after dinner - if need be. But mostly I'm curious if anyone else has had problems because I'm thoroughly stumped.

I just gave it a try after reading your post and didn't have any problems.

phpBB.com is pretty good with support...as with any forum you will always have your kiddies that want to start trouble. The Moderators there will take care of anything inappropriate...just notify them of any inappropriate behavior.

Actually, I finally discovered a solution - and have subsequently fixed my permissions issue. So yay for me. And yeah, I reported the rude behavior to a MOD, haven't heard anything, but I hardly visit that forum - I generally don't have much need to. Which is fine. (It's much nicer here anyway.)
