Page updating problem..
The page is http://www.scubasteve.biz/index.htm
I am using Dreamweaver MX 2004 (I have never had this problem before) It seems to not be updating the entire code and template. I updated the template with a new special icon today. It is not showing up. Neither is the large banner on the editable part of the page. When I view source from IE when on the webpage is shows the following for the section of the page in question. ------- <font size="3" face="Comic Sans MS">e-mail: <a href="mailto:scuba.steve scubasteve.biz">scuba.ste ve scubasteve.biz</a><br>Phone: 813-792-2902<br> <br> </font><br> <br> <strong><font color="#0000CC" size="4" face="Comic Sans MS">NEED A MARINE ELECTRONICS INSTALLER?</font> -------- If I look in dreamweaver the same section looks like this: --------- <font size="3" face="Comic Sans MS">e-mail: <a href="mailto:scuba.steve scubasteve.biz">scuba.ste ve scubasteve.biz</a><br>Phone: 813-792-2902<br> <br> </font><a href="store/promotions/index.htm"><img src="store/images/imgtemplates/q2-2005shipping.gif" width="510" height="167" border="0"></a><br> <br> <strong><font color="#0000CC" size="4" face="Comic Sans MS">NEED A MARINE ELECTRONICS INSTALLER?</font> ----------- It doesn't error when uploading and seems to be in the directory /public_html when I look on cpanel. If I just make a simple change to the text and type HELP on the page and reupload it shows up. Like it should. However this graphic and the new graphic under the paypal verified logo (part of the template) does not show up when going to the website. Any guideance would be appreciated. I've never had anything like this happen before. Thanks, Neil

Try this: When you load it in IE, holding control and hit refresh. It's likely reading it from cache, so clearing your Temp Internet Files might clear it up to.

I have tried clearing the temp files. And have tried ctrl-refresh as suggested. Still nothing shows up. My pages should automatically load the newer page regardless of the cache anyway.
Any other suggestions? Refresh unfortunately is not it. Thanks Neil

and if I'd read the thread, I'd see that that's the problem...
Make sure that Dreamweaver is uploading it to the correct place and overwriting the old file.

I understand that. That is the problem, it IS coded in the HTML file in the local copy. It uploads to the site with no errors, but does not appear when you go to the page. If you go into CPANEL it is in the file if you go view the file in the public_html directory. I can add text to the page and reupload it but the new image in the main page and template do not show up. They are also absent when you view source from IE. It makes absolutly no sense to me.
I have tried moving the pictures to different directories. I've uploaded the page more than a dozen times. Cleared my temp IE files. Refreshed 100 times. I at a loss this has never happened before.

I have attached the text of the entire index.htm file. You can see the link for the gif in there. This has been uploaded multiple times. I will put "SURPASS" on the page and upload it again with the image. You will see SURPASS but the image will not be there still and it will not show in the source view of IE. That is if it keeps doing the same thing.
