Same Errors with different Fantastico installs

hi , i hope someone can help me .... i need to install phpbb and oscommerce ... but when i proceed to final step ( Finish installation )
i allways received the same error :

:frust: i go to phpmyadmin and it creates the database with 0 tables !!

that is because there is a " - " in the username

mysql doesn't like any dashes

If you need your username changed because of this let me know.

if it is an account you created

please just delete it and recreate it without the dash (- ) in the username

and this goes for anyone else too :surpass:
