I agree with Bigjohn self installation vs. Fantastico. When you learn to install them yourself, you're more apt to be able to figure out what when wrong when something doesn't install right via Fantastico.

I agree with you but my clients don't have a clue how to install something manually. The last one tried to install a theme and I have to rebuild her site now, oh well.
But it still needs to be fixed. |

My guess on this:
CPanel and PHP have recently been upgraded. I think it's quite likely that is the cause of the problem. 'Cause go figure, I click on Fantastico and get the error too. |

Want the official explination? This error is caused by a misconfiguration of sourceguardian for your server. It happens when things get updated most often. Simply send us at support a quick email and we can usually have it fixed within 15 minutes : )
