Fantastico Deluxe on a Dedicated Box
Does anyone know how to access Fantastico Settings on a Dedicated box?
I have an installation of it, and I have a password. No idea how to access! I'm sure somebody knows the answer to this one! (btw - LOVE these new smileys!) |

You should be able to access it just like you would access the cPanel of a user. That's how I do it.

Thats what I meant. Go in WHM and it should be listed just like a regular account on your server. Go to it's cPanel and there is your admin section where you can update the programs and all.

Go to List Accounts and click on the cPanel Icon for any of your accounts (if your fantastico isnt listed) and when the cPanel loads for that account, change it to the fantastico one via the dropdown list you get when using the root password on a cPanel account. Then click on the Fantastico icon where it always is in cPanel and then select Fanstatico Administration under Navagation and click Go.

Absolutely right! Sorry misunderstood - got it all configured etc!
Surely there should be some piece of information that tells you that somewhere? It's not very obvious. Or have I just missed it? Probably! Btw - fantastic SSL tutorial! Would you mind if I reproduced it for my site? If you wouldn't, what sort of accreditation would you like/require? PM me if you wish to discuss outside of the public forum. Thanks |

No actually I saw that I had a lot of scripts in Fantastico that were older versions so I poked around and found out how to get to the admin menu. I am sure it is somewhere on the Fanstitico website but I never saw it.
Thank you about the SSL tut. The one I wrote here is worded for Surpass but I wrote practically the same one on FTP Talk forums. I don't mind you using it. If you want to put a credit just make sure Ehaanaes is included along with me. ![]() Tracer
