Hi - I've recently joined up and gotten things working on my site, but I've not been able to get access to the cpanel applet since:
1. My DNS started resolving and 2. I've been trying to get to the cpanel from work (behind a corporate firewall). I've tried 'my IP/cpanel' detailed in the email (which worked earlier) and also noted that 'my IP/cpanel' forwarded to 'my IP:2082/'. I also tried <sitename>/cpanel (knew this wouldn't work, but tried anyway). Am I having trouble because of the port? Should I be posting IPs here? Chris ps - I'm self taught with moderate html/scripting background, but not in this as my primary hobby/job - so I may be a bit 'dense'

2082 is the port through which cPanel operates so you don't need to worry about that. I don't know much about firewalls though.
