You might have to go in and play with the PHP code then. Actually, as far as I can see, your footer is still having a grey background and the links don't have an active state at all.

Just a note, your alpha-transparent PNGs are just grey in IE.

Well I figured it out. He used <?php wp_list_pages('ID&title_li='); ?> to display the pages. Now the only problem is on the first link (blog) I don't know how he got it to display the blog. :P Otherwise the css works with multiple pages etc.
