Java Script to retain IP
Where can I get some information, so the java script will go out to the user and atch there actually ip. lets say I am having alot of problems with proxy spam on my forum.

as far as I know, there's no way to force it to get their 'real' IP if they're using a proxy. Not through JavaScript, anyway.

Yeah its called java calls
Java calls - Java has the ability to connect directly to your machine, because the applets are downloaded and run from your computer, which bypasses any proxy or filtering software you have installed. You need to turn off java if this is the case. This site goes into more detail and has a test to see if you're susceptible: |

Oh, you're talking about actual Java. I thought you made a typo and you meant JavaScript, which is like comparing chalk and cheese.
Yes, I'm 99% sure it's possible with Java.
