Image Gallery and WYSIWYG

I would like to setup an image gallery on my website, and I'm using mambo. What I need is a highly customizable one (or just the basic script for it) that can be controlled (adding or subtracting images) through the mambo administrator area. That part is absolutely necessary, but it would definitely be nice.

I am also in need of an excellent wysiwyg editor for mambo, not the stupid one that comes with it that doesn't seem to support anything but IE. I'm on safari, but will be using it on many different browsers (IE, Safari, Firefox, Opera, etc.).

Does anyone know of a good one for either of these?
By the way: Cheap is good, free is best.

Dale,

Good luck finding a WYSIWYG editor that will work across all browsers. I'm using the SPAW editor in xoops, and it just recently started supporting IE and Firefox. Don't know about Safari, and I doubt that it would work with Opera. You should see if it is available for Mambo, and if it is, give it a try. It works great for me.

Good luck.

John

Failure is not an option. It comes standard with all Microsoft products.

I use Mambo, too and needed a gallery for a client's CMS site. I tried every one listed on Mamboforge and two seemed to work fine.

Zoom was the easiest to install but Gallery's installation was well documented. It took a while to set up but once it was running it was chock full of doodads to configure. I was looking for something with no design at all to slip into Mambo and look like the rest of the site. Both of these did the job.

An excellent Mambo Wysiwyg Editor? Nice oxymoron! Let me know if you find one.

If you don't have the same initial Apache ownership issues I did, it'll set up easy as mudpies.

I need a very simple gallery, one that can do a very easy layout of pictures (and one that a moron can administer / add galleries and photos to, etc)...

For an example of the type of thing I'm trying to accomplish, have a look at the current exhibits HERE!
