As I said on the last page, it's basically a way for people sto start and/or maintain a WordPress blog sans the trouble of installing, upgrading, etc. etc. - it's a community environment (like you stay logged in across WP.com, sort of like LiveJournal)...and other than that I don't know what else it'll be or what will be offerred, it's very very new.

I just wrote the longest feedback letter in creation, though...but we'll see where it ends up.

Just curious, but what are the customization options like? Can you go beyond basic template modifications (if you can do that even) and make your own mods or add functions of your own creation?

So livejournal right? lol sorry, I just keep seeing this as another livejournal, just with Wordpress instead of....journalpress.

As I said like ten billion times, yeah it's a community based blogging... thing... like LiveJournal, though I'm sure it'll have it's own major differences. I mean, it's not LiveJournal code, it's WordPress. (Which in my opinion makes it eight million times better just with that.)

Well I had never heard of LiveJournal before I came here. But I think I'll leave this alone till more info is available. Just now getting the feel of the Wordpress I have in place and liking it. When I can find plugins that work with the theme. Ug! And this is sounding to me to be on their site not mine. Is that right?

Anyhow, yup Skip, it's on wp.com - I'm not trying to force anyone to move there or even use it. I just thought I'd share the new WP development and blah blah blah of it all. I mean, I use WordPress all over, so moving my blog there is nothing because I still have a site powered with it and like fifteen test blogs and people using it that bug me about it. But yeah, currently it's not a place to start off because it's still in beta and a bit big with the buggy.

But I'll be updating peeps who care to be updated on the status of it all because I'm obsessive, er, nice like that.
