Filezilla hates me! I got a directory listing, and somehow am seeing stuff that's hosted on another site, not the one I'm working on. I haven't found the right folder for uploads, photos, to attempt to chmod. Maybe I need a nap.

Val,
In Firefox, right click on the directory or file that you want to change, and choose "File attributes...". That will pop up a "Change File Attributes" window, and the rest is history.  Sounds like you have some network issues going. I've never had FileZilla do anything evil like what you are describing. Might want to punt and try again in the morning. John

Read, write, and execute, under user, group, and world are all checked now, and I set it to 777. I haven't found the thumbs folder in cpanel yet but will look in the am.
