Help with myalbump or xoopsgallery
Well I tried both xoopsgallery and myalbump and don't seem to be able to upload any pics without imagemagick, which I don't seem to be able to download. Can someone point me in the right direction to get some pics up? Or point me towards a slightly more noob friendly imaging module?
Thanks. ![]() |

You don't need to download ImageMagick. It's already installed on the server. You probably just haven't changed the permissions on the folders that the images are uploading to.

Where is it? I believe I need it to contort the pics I have and put them on the site I'm working on. In myalbump I tried clicking on add photo. I also tried clicking on import images. I also tried just uploading them into the uploads folder. I keep getting messages that the upload failed. Thanks.

Val,
I'm guessing that you downloaded the latest version of myAlbum-P. I just set up a test site for mocking up a new site that I'm getting ready to do for my ISP, so I'll go install it and see what it takes to make it work, and let you know. I'll also see about installing xoopsgallery as well so you'll have your choice. ![]() Assuming I don't get hijacked, I'll try to get it done yet tonight. Be back soon. ![]() John

Yeah, you need to chmod the folder you are uploading to. I believe these are both:
photos/ photos/thumbs/ You can do this with an FTP program. Make them both 777. |

Dave's busy with his new dedi. Since I don't have that problem, try right clicking on the directory. You should get a list of options. One of them will let you change the permissions (chmod). Can't remember how it's worded. I don't read it, I just click on it. ![]()

Boys and their toys... :-) Girls are just as bad. Filezilla is timing out and unable to give me a directory listing. I'll keep at it.
