cpanel guest log in help

I have an administrator of one of my sites that is going to redesign my site since I don't have time. I don't like giving other people access to the cpanel but in this case it is unavoidable. is there a way to set up a secondary username and password to the cpanel so that IF something should go screwey I don't get locked out of my cpanel? If not is there some other alternative to allowing this person access to the file manager and phpmyadmin?

thanks

There isn't another way to log into cPanel but you could always create a new FTP account and create another user with access to your MySQL database.
