I'm trying to install phpFormGenerator with my Fantastico but it says me
- This cpanel version does not support subdomain path detection, please contact your host. What's happened? |

I have noticed there are a few tool Fantastico will not install to a subdomain. It will likely need to be done manual or you might be able to install to the domain and point the subdomain to it?
I'm fairly new at this stuff myself so maybe one of the board pros will jump in soon with more information and better ideas. Good luck. ![]()

I know this is kind of rehashing an old thread, but I'm having this problem as well with installing WordPress on a subdomain.
I know for a fact that I used to be able to install WP on subdomains, because I've done it with three other subdomains, but I'm trying again now and it's not working; I'm getting the error that the cPanel version will not work with detecting subdomain paths. What could have changed in the past three weeks to make this do this, and how can it be resolved? I host other peoples' blogs as subdomains on my domain, many of whom are not as skilled with script installation, and I don't want to have to go in to each one and install WordPress by hand for them...

I posted a ticket to Support to ask about it, because it seems to be a problem for other people as well with various scripts/apps installing through Fantastico.
I'll let you know what they say/how it goes...
