Is there any way I can track which .jpg files are being downloaded the most out of one folder on my site? I've looked through cpanel and can't seem to figure it out. Any suggestions?

Almost all stat programs track the "most requested" files (i.e., files that are downloaded or displayed in a web browser). However, this will only track HTTP requests and not FTP requests for the file.

I went through all the stats (Analog, Webalizer, Awstats) and it looks like you can only track .html pages. I would like to track .jpg files that are called from the html (not FTP). Is there any way to do this?

After looking through the Analog stats it looks like it does track .jpg files. However, I would like to limit it to a certain folder (the most requested files are now thumbnails). Do any of the tracking programs offered just track files in one folder?

My guess would be, "No".

I am certain that there is a stat proggie somewhere on the 'net that can be configured to read only a specific folder/directory. Many of the gallery programs do it. It seems to be a common feature.

It sounds like you want a custom script from one of the talented programmers here.

Put up a "Want Ad".
