hi
I have Installed 4images , photo managment system , i followed exactly the tutorials listed in this forum by Emmanuel , and suppose the installtion was successful , I have chekced the database and everything was installed now I suppose to login to 4 images as an admin ? I cant ! Everytime I point my browser to http://ZAkn.tk/4images it take me once again to the installtion process So what wrong im doin ?

Nope... you forgot to follow all of the directions.
 Make sure you change permissions on the appropriate files and follow all the rest of the clean up directions... Aric |

I already did that , I followed Every single step was written in the tutorial , I tried it several times no way its not working
I made the permission and the clean up , nothing missing really

If it is still trying to call the installation script then you definitely missed CHMODing a file somewhere (or didn't remobe a file you should have). Make sure you have used your FTP program to make the CHMODing (permissions) changes because in the latest version of CPANEL the File Manager permissions changing mechanism does not work.

I'll second Aric's comment about Cmod problems with Cpanel. It is kind of hinky. It looks like you changed it then it doesn't really.
Also in the directions there was something like downloading a file, deleting and reuploading it. I did that up I uploaded it in the wrong place. I didn' t have the problem you had, but I had an error message. This process of installing 4images is not that easy or simple., but when you complete it you have lots of satisfaction. If you have any problem with the image conversion to thumbnails and resizing drop me a line or post. I finally figured it out. |

Does 4Images have a "debug" option? Turn that on and check the error messages.
Can you post your current error message? Restore your install.php file and try the install again. Is the User/Pass case sensitive? Are you in the correct case? Is http://zakn.tk/photo.htm your 4images gallery? |

http://zakn.tk/photo.htm is another gallery , not 4images one
I wanted to use 4imagez instead I used smart ftp to change CHMOD , I never used Cpanal stuff I got no error , what i always get is the installtion Script is calling back again, after uploading , installing and downlaoding the config.php and setting new permissions for the files and folders needed and If I cleared the install and update files i got invalid address , coz its call it ..
