CSS help...

Hey folks...

I've got my new site up using Joomla. But i'm having some formatting problems. I probably need a new style definintion in my CSS, but I can't figure out where...

If you see the site http://www.stegenga.net

The TOP section, where I talk about the site. The paragraph style is what I want to use all over the site. But for some reason, if you look in the 'newsflash' box, and at other articles, it's not the same...

Help?

mike -

It's the LINE SPACING... look in the main part at the top center. Single spaced lines.

Look just about anywhere else, but especially in "newsflash" - like 1.5 or even double space between lines.

One looks like this
one looks like this

the other looks like this

the other looks like this

Get what I'm saying?

Ok, I didn't pick that up from the first post.

That's easy, it's actually you're HTML. You're putting everything within paragraphs. They have margins by default, so you're getting the effect of line-height being used elsewhere.

Scratch that... That wouldn't cause the appearance of double spacing.

I think this might be your trouble spot:
Code:
#maincol-normal div.moduletable h3, #maincol-wide div.moduletable h3, #maincol-broad div.moduletable h3{
font-size: 12px;
font-weight: bold;
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px;
height: 20px;
line-height: 20px;
color: #FFF;
width: 100%;
border-bottom: 1px solid #EFEFEF;
text-align: left;
text-indent: 5px;
}
You got some nice line-height in there. I'm not really positive right now though, way too late for me to give a good answer.

It seems that your text is justified. I looked in the HTML and I spotted this :
Code:
<p align="justify">
   <span class="moduletable">
   So you see it!&nbsp; It's a brand new, revamped Stegenga.NET!
   </span>
</p>
The first two paragraphs have this before while the last one doesn't. I think that may be your problem.
