to upload files with the posts, should i chmod the uploads folder to 777?

That is what I've done, but sometimes it changes back to 755

That's a swerver thing. I forget where it was talked about on the forums here that 777'd folders would be un777'd if it was necessary or something due to the inherint risk or whatever.

Hmm, I tried upgrading and everything is working fine except for comments and when I click on entries to view by themselves. I get errors.

Sounds like a theme issue to me nikita, have you switched over to the default 2.0 theme and checked if things are working? If so it's definitely a theme issue, if not, let me know and I can help you troubleshoot a bit more.

As a note, if you didn't completely follow the instructions for upgrading (deleting ALL files aside from wp-content and wp-config.php) this will absolutely give you some random errors.

anyone from surpass know if you're going to upgrade the wordpress version that fantastico installs?

Fantastico is a 3rd party software implantation (sp), and Surpass has no control over that.

Uh, they upgraded WP to 2.0 when I emailed Support for one of the 2 servers I have my domains on. I told them I was having problems upgrading on my own.

i tried to change the language uploading the spanish files and edited one but the blog is still in english, do i have to change the option somewhere else? :/
