WordPress 2.0 - Page 3

I've never tried doing that. I'm happy with the english language files. Sorry, can't help you.

It's interesting, though, that Fantastico gives you the option to install new installations of Wordpress 2.0 (or upgrade existing to 2.0), but running either of those scripts results in a 1.5.2 installation.

I've tried this a few times, and can't seem to get 2.0 - in any form - on my server via Fantastico.

It sounds like your server doesn't have v2.0 install and is still using v1.5.2. You should check with Support bout getting v2.0 installed on your server.

If someone who is an expertly expert with Wordpress could write an article.. with helpful links about Wordpress, and a detailed description of how to install or upgrade.. we could sticky it in this forum.

We also need to work on finding out what Wordpress plugins have caused problems in the past on servers. I've been reading comments on Wordpress related sites trying to come up with word of issues before they happen to us. Certain plugins can wreak havoc, especially in a shared enviroment.

We should also compile a list of tips, gathered from this very WordPress Discussion board here.

Since it's a Surpass recommended app, we need to make sure there's not any confusion about anything at all related to it. That'd be great.

I will see what i can do, although I will not call myself an expertly expert. I know how to install the thing, and to add plugins/themes.

Will not be today however, since there is still the work thing. Strange how the expect you to come to work, only because they pay you.

This has to wait for some time longer. My complete Wordpress install went crazy

I haven't tried to put WP 2.0 on my accounts here, but it works great on my other sites. I like the upgrades they have on it.
