Joomla parse error. Please help!

Out of nowhere Joomla is returning this error.

Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/thelowe/public_html/content/mambots/content/mosbookmarks.php on line 236

I went and looked into the file it is complaining about. There are only 235 lines. So what is it complaining about?

I don't remember making any changes to my site the past few weeks. Everything was working yesterday.

Please help!

I reinstalled the Bookmarks bot and now joomla doesn't complain. However. the front page is blank. Nothing comes up. I'm going crazy trying to figure this out.
