One month
I have about one month to learn Joomla (or Mambo).
About a year ago I was aked to redo a website (see MAMBO!!! <333). Since then I didn't hear anything from them till now. For them it doesn't matter how the site looks, but it should be easy to keep up-to-date. It's going to be a bi-langual (sp) site (Dutch and English), with project data and loads of pictures, maybe even a news-system. Are there any easy to follow guides on how to work with Joomla/Mambo? BTW. I'm trying to convince them to get hosting at surpass, but they need to see if they can afford it (being a non-profit aid group for Sri Lanka).

First, I find Joomla to be a better option than Mambo, because to me it seems to be more user-friendly, both the system and the community.
Second, learning Joomla is quite easy. Everything you need to know, you can learn at http://forum.joomla.org. Third, I am sure there are alot of easy to follow guides out there, just do a search on their forum. Or you can check out the FAQ section in their forum, http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/board,49.0.html |
