Smile wrong setup path

hi there =)
i'm using fantastico to install phpwcms, but i got a problem. the installation works fine, but when i try to get there i get the common "unable to find server" error.

i had the same problem trying to install wordpress, so now i know it's a fantastico problem.

the final url should be http://www.domain.com/cms but what i get is only http://domain.com/cms , that doesn't work. i've been able to fix it in wordpress with admin panel but i can't with phpwcms...

suggestions?

thanx in advance!

so what you're saying is that the path in the scripts you are installing are setup wrong? In that case, the phpwcms script may have a config file in it where you set the path, or perhaps in the database itself is where it's setup.

actually i started all over again but doing it by myself (cause there's a new version of phpwcms).

the problem was only in some path values as you said: the "site" must be the domain name (just like "http://www.domain.com") and the "root" var must be the subdir where the cms is (like "cms").

ok no problems with fantastico then
thanx

I prefer installing manually, because I've had too many troubles with Fantastico. Plus, you have to wait for them to update, so you can update.
