I made a mod very similar to that on the tbits sourcecode. Glad to see it's on Surmunity now. (Note: I'm not taking credit. I stole the idea for it from the vbulletin flash demo)

I just realized that the newest version of Invision also does that. Instead of double clicking, you click and hold on the link.
