strange mistake with subdomain ..

Hi all ..

I made a subdomain .. when enter http://mfan.the-torches.com it dosent work .. but like this http://www.mfan.the-torches.com works .. whats the wrong here .. plzzz help ppl ..

Site with or without the www comes up for me. But I do get a error message of "Unable to select database."

Thank you guyz so much .. forgive me .. i'm a newbie in hosting world ..

btw .. i didnt figure out whats the problem with my database .. i got headache from this db .. i'm sure that i do everything in good way .. but i think db dont like me anymore
