I just registered with the standard hosting package a couple of hours ago, but I forgot to put my password down and I can't remember it! I've been emailed the sales receipt so I can prove that I did in fact register, but is there anybody I can email to request my password?

Cheers,
Zax.

Submit a trouble ticket with EVERY bit of proof you have.

You may even be able to reset your pass in the client area.

A trouble ticket is used to track issues with customes..

send an email with your information to supportsurpasshosting.com

I would imagine, tell them you need your password reset.

Include your Name, Address and last 4 of your CC Card. I think I did that once and thats what they wanted from me.

Yeah, I found the trouble ticket page about an hour ago and sent them an email, but I haven't got a response yet. I've also asked for my details to be resent from the client login page an hour ago, but I haven't recieved anything from that either (the resend details bit is automated, right?)

I'm confused.

When you sign up, you get an activation email.
.
There is no need to write down a pass, it is mailed to you when you complete the sign up process.

maybe there's something wrong with my email then. I haven't been receiving messages for quite a while now (nor a reply from the trouble ticket or the requests for my password to be resent). I don't think I was sent an activation email (is this because I was (and still am) waiting for GoDaddy.com to set its nameservers to the ones I was given when i signed up?)

[edit]but I was sent a receipt from Paypal for the transaction of $48 dollars though, including the subscription number and everything. So maybe it isn't my email?[/edit]
