Comment Moderation

I'm trying to set up comment moderation on my WP and I've read the codex but it just does not seem to work..no matter what options I have ticked/unticked comments are still published straight away, I even tried iton my brother's comp who I've never posted on my WP from that IP before (because I thought maybe it's IP based and all) but it still doesn't work..can someone please help me? I really need this on and I just can't see what else I need ticked/unticked.

Try to download the Askimet plugin (if you have the newest (2.0+) version of Wordpress, it's included. You then only need to get an API from wordpress.com.

Or install the SK2 plugin for Wordpress. I think both are avaible on Wordpress.org

I have SK2 installed actually so I might fiddle with that a bit more, thanks.

If you have SK2 installed, comment moderation is automatically disabled because IT determines what is moderated/spam/whatever. It'll also disable the option to only post if it's a first time poster, too.
