Nothing happened when i went to mysibdomain.mydomain.net
I set up a subdomain in cpanel, nothing happened In the affiliate program i had to enter my new redirected url either my subdomain.theiraffiliate or mysubdomain.mydomain? Link takes me to the cgi folder now.

Like I said initially, don't set up a subdomain using cPanel. All this does is add a dns record that points to your servers IP and create an httpd.conf entry that causes that folder to be displayed when the server receives a request for the subdomain. You need to add a Cname entry as described above, and that's it.
DNS edits as a reseller may or may not work correctly, which is why I said to have support make the change. In any case, once the change is made it will take time for the DNS to resolve. If you'd post the web addresses in question, we'll be able to provide more help. |
