If you installed it with Fantastico, it should show you which version is available and which is installed. It should also tell you if you need to update.
1.2 Final is the final version of this script. When something hit's that kind of status, it's best to start looking for an alternative. Wow. Fun times. I just installed it with Fantastico and immediately got Internal Server errors lol

I don't have access to anything like that. If you open one of the php files in the guestbook in a text editor, it will probably show the version number in it towards the top.

Ok also iv changed the colors on the site.. to this #000080 for bg, now im trying to do the same for the viper guestbook but, i dont remeber which file it was.. I allready did it and, i just spent about 30 minutes and, cant find that file.. do you know.??

It's probably in the skins folder. Maybe a style sheet.
