ClickBe Tutorial

Choose Install. Once you have installed a ClickBe website, the next time you go to this page you would click Manage.

Here you enter a directory (it does not have to exist, ClickBe will create it for you).
Do not enter a forward slash but do enter a trailing slash like the example above.
If you would like to install ClickBe on your entire site, leave the box blank.

After you confirm the installation, you can go to admin.php to set up the site!

Your username and password are the same as your main cPanel credentials.

Anyone had problems with click be! installations not showing up on the click be! panel? AKA it still shows "You haven't installed any sites yet" when you have?

Just tried it, and I don't have the problem you described. I do have another one though:

Yes, but not your error as of yet, the cpanel install seemed to go fine but cannot log in through the admin(.php) script.

I attempted to activate on three different accounts. The accounts cpanel username and password is not accepted on any of the installations. I even tried putting the demo.php (with alt user/pass) in the (www).clickbe directory as described in their installation manual, which created errors. (Yes, I resorted to reading the manual.) Messed with it for a couple hours with permissions and such before I gave up. Any suggestions?

This will/would be a great addition for my clients if i can get it working and do not have to manually fix each install.

Thanks in advance for any help....

Just before posting I tried again just for s's and giggles.

Hold up here folks.... At 2:30 a.m. it was not working. Now it is?
Checked other installs and all is cool!?
No problem in cpanel as mentioned above either.

To quote the late great Gilda Radner "Never Mind"!

I went ahead and posted this anyhow in case anyone else ran into this. If not, please delete this mindless banter I just entered!

Great job Surpass!

How to remove Click Be Company Logo?

Hi,

I'm trying to use Click Be to help out a friend build a memorial site for her son who recently passed away. I'm on pass21. I'm trying to keep it simple by using Click Be, and I'm using the Birds-1 template, but I can't seem to get rid of the "Company Logo" image in the header, http://paulricci.name/ .

I can't seem to edit any of the files via ftp or cpanel because of some funky permissions. The image properties says its in:
/.click_be/click_be/templates/index/custom/birds-1/images/cblogo.gif

Does anyone have any ideas for removing that logo gif.

Thanks!
Pete

Hi Pete,

I thought in the ClickBe panel there was an area to upload an image to replace that. I will take a look now and reply again soon.
