Check my new site's links?
Hi again,
I didn't use any automated setup for this new site i'm working on i.e gs-direct.net This is how i've worked around the whole setup of hosting plans. Actually while i'm typing this, i am thinking of that new addon click be ![]() But anyways.. for now here's what i did.. I set up a pricing page - http://gs-direct.net/overview2.html When the user decides to order, they click "order now" When they click order now, they are taken to a form that they should fill in and submit http://gs-direct.net/info/1/form.html When they submit this form they are taken to that subscription Could somebody have a look over this setup and tell me if it's set up properly and most importantly, if it is the most secure way to use paypal. Basically what i did was create a subscription button.. That gives you two options one of which is a link to send in emails. Which is what i have used.. this is what i did: The flash form when submitted, redirects the customer to any link you enter So i created the paypal subscription button and used that email link code as the redirect url when they submit from the order form. Have i made the right choice? The first order button works so test that please. Also, that flash form submits even if you don't fill out the form. Just let us know what you think and take a look at the paypal link The link looks different than your normal subscription to paypal Should i change anything etc

That's basically how mine works. In my case though, it dumps a bunch of user information into a database and creates an account with a client center I'm building. Then, it shows them a link to paypal that allows them to actually submit the subscription payment.
But yes, much like the way I'm planning on doing it. |

I just clicked the submit button to see what would happen. Mine checks for specific fields being empty, and I wasn't sure if you were doing the same. Yours goes directly to the subscription paypal page, while mine goes to a page with a message about how they are just one step away from completing their order. They click the button below and submit payment, but are also told that their account will be setup in a few hours.

Heh, mine was a pain to build. I'm considering doing the ending a different way after seeing yours. Probably just having it throw you to the paypal page, and email the person the details that page would have show (the maximum of 12 hours till setup...only reason it's 12 is because I may be at work or asleep or something).

With mine (That I kind of built), you chose the package you wanted, it got your info, then gave you a page with the link for your plan. For that, I just went onto paypal and created a link (the email version one), for each plan. When it displays the link, it also emails me and the customer.
In the future, maybe I will actually make the one I want

Mine is still a pain in the butt.. only do a bit here n there
but it's at the stage where a local customer's yearly subscription is comming And i don't want to accept cash this year lol As they say; what you haven't in your hand you can't hold And that subscription alone, left in paypal would cover me nicely for a few months online payments of my own ![]() So i'm gonna have this site ready when the time comes. You could tell them in that form how long it might take to set up, i think im gonna. Yea Dew i recon i'll have to create 7x3 order forms for the large plans page And a few for the small plans page jesus That click be addon, i dunno is that something you wanna be recommending to you clients or maybe it's for resellers to offer design features to clients.
