AccountLab Plus - Joomla Bridge???
Does anyone know of an AccountLab Plus - Joomla bridge? I figure you could probably use the wrapper but I would like to just have my users register once. If anyone knows of a bridge, or if anyone knows how to create a bridge, I would appreciate the help. Thanks.

If you're looking for a cms/hosting bundle, you might want to check out AWBS. I'm in the middle of their 2 week free trial. Looks to be a pain to theme, but otherwise, has all the functionality I need in one integrated package, and comes with a free $7.95 eNom account if you want it.
If I figure it all out, I'm probably going to go for it, because I just don't have the time to write something from scratch. And honestly, I doubt most potential customers would know or care either way, as long as it looks professional.

John, I kept meaning to message you and mention that I was going to go with AWBS and went with WHMCS. They also offer reselling, but with DirectI, and no minimum amount you have to have in your account. And $7.75 for domains.

Is WHMCS a complete hosting site, or do you have to integrate it with something else? From what I could see, it handles client management, billing and support. So what made you choose it over AWBS? I'm not defending it, just wondering what lead to your decision, because it's not cheap, and I don't wnat to buy it if there is a problem with it, or something better out there. I'm surprised you're online tonight. The Pickler is headed back to NC, and claims to have no boyfriend. I figured you'd be waiting in the bushes next to her driveway so that you could console her when she got home. ![]() You're missing your chance. ![]()

I'm just going with the monthly thing to make sure I actually like it enough to keep it (bought whoiscart and 30 minutes later wished I hadn't), and so far I do like it. It looks nice, so I don't have to edit the look too much to fit my design, and the back end is pretty easy to navigate around. It was cheaper than AWBS in the monthly cost, but buying outright I believe it is the same. So in a month or two maybe I'll have fully decided if I'll stick with this or not.
Well, I have a weird car issue so driving at night won't be happening until it gets fixed. My parking lights are draining my battery for some reason, which is apparently from a short in them according to my grandfather who checked it out for me. My dad is going to look at it this weekend since I know nothing about cars. So, Pickler has to wait. |
