Internal Server Error for Joomla

I tried to install the new release of joomla. all works fine. But when I visit the administrator, I got Internal Server Error. I change the permission of all folders back to 755 and delete the .htaccess but still same error coming in. Front end is fine. only in the administrator has an error.

Has anyone experience this? I know its all about PHPsuexec, but when I view the .htaccess there is no php_value. Is there something I missed?

Pls help to all joomla/mambo designer here! Thanks...

I did have this problem.
All folders have to be 755, all files have to be 644, and ownership of files has to be your account, not the 'nobody' user.

ohh thats pain in the ass... maybe I should upload 1 by 1.

I check the ownership and it goes to my account not to 'nobody'

You could file a ticket to support, they should be able to set permissions for all files and folders correctly easily, without having to do it all one by one.

It takes support 5 minutes to apply ownership and permissions.

Just tell them to make ALL FILES 644, and all FOLDERS/Directories 755, all content with ownership to the account name.

I download Joomla! Downloader - 1.0 Beta from http://dev.mpnetwork.co.uk/ and upload the file to my server and the script do the rest.

No worries about the ownership/permissions I just leave it as ease. and it works fine.
