The New CPANEL Evolution!

Wow, cpanel has redone there whole site, and now redoing there product designs it looks like..

That is pretty sweet, thanks for the notification.

I also noticed they opened their forums for viewing to all. Before you used to have to log in to view them.

Agreed! I find it way too busy and I hate the fact that it totally owns your entire screen without having enough content to warrant it. There's so much whitespace it's terrible. It should be scaled to a height and width more suiting for the amount of content that's visible... much like cPanel X.

Here's a quick list of hates:

Way too much whitespace
Crappy fade effect on left-hand navigation
Mouseover thought bubbles are annoying!
File manage is way too advanced for its own good. We don't need draggable windows. I'd rather just load up an FTP client for advanced features. What happened to integrated simplicity?
Links actually extend past text into whitespace, thus making the annoying thought bubbles appear CONSTANTLY
And finally, the thing is just really trying to look cool. I think that the whole thing is a ton harder to navigate and makes normally simple tasks take a bit longer to complete.

I'm a huge fan of the cPanel X and will likely turn homicidal should it ever be removed.

I agree with all of the above. To put it simply it's way too bloated with useless effects that are ugly anyway.

I like how they lay everything out into the groups. But I hate the file manager, the tooltips (they can be turned off, so I guess that's OK), and the fading of the menus on the left. It won't let me have more than one of them open.... annoying

How do you use the new filemanager...?
Did anyone else have problems with it scrolling every direction...?
