I need to import backups for my reseller account using the cpanel interface, so I upload the home directory file, it brings me to a page displaying: Restoring files
After, I log into FTP to see if the files were in fact restored, and nothing happens! No files added, and my account info remains the same. So my issue is this: I have 5 web sites with many email addresses I dont have passwords for and so on. How am I going to transfer those from one site to Surpass seamlessly (emails working while DNS propogates, mysql databases are setup, directory structure is a match) If anyone has a good method of moving from one host to another, please let me know Jesse |

A cPanel backup is meant for restoration on the server you backed it up on.. actually. So unfortunately you can't use it here.
We can transfer your accounts from the other server, to the server you are on with us, if you give support surpasshosting.com the usernames and passwords of the accounts, plus the IP address of the server. If the accounts are large in size and they time out while we move them, you may be required to download some of the files yourself, to upload later.. in order to make the transfer successful. |
