Finally some GREAT JOOMLA! news

Quote:
I am pleased to announce that the Information Security firm WebSecure Group has awarded Joomla! after its evaluation at the Chaos Construction 2006 Convention in St. Petersburg, Russia.

During what is called the “Deface Realtime Compo” Competition up to 150 Security Specialists, hackers, and crackers bomarded the CMS with attacks for 2 days straight without success.

Both Joomla! and PHP-Nuke were evaluated during the competition and both systems received positive evaluations. Along with the positive evaluation, we received a certification from the WebSecure Group, declaring that Joomla! was reliable and recommended for use.
I thought since I usually only have time to place security threats Id add a pinch of good news today!

Of course, this is great news for Joomla, and "peace of mind" for phpnuke. But as always, the problem with PHPnuke is the user-created modules, etc. That is where the wholes come from.

Joomla has a more restricted development requirement for modules, components, and mambots.
