mobi site xhtml question
hi! i'm a total newbie at developing a mobile website.
My questions is, i downloaded a template which can be seen on most mobile phones. It's here: www.converting.mobi/110/index.xhtml I just want to see what a mobile website looks like... Question is, when I go to view it in my browser, I can't see it because it's in xhtml... why can't I view this page in my browser? Do you think it's a mime type setting? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Using internet explorer - all updated  Using Firebox - all updated Do I need a special plugin to see it? |

From the sound of it it's a mime type thing. Try adding .xhtml to your mime type settings and see if it works. No harm in trying.

ok i put it in like:
mime type / extension application/vnd.wap.xhtml+xml / .xhtml text/xhtml / .xhtml vnd.wap.xhtml+xml / .xhtml still asking me to download it. help? thanks. |

I meant mime type within your Operating System. Download a .xhtml file, then choose Open With...
Choose your web browser. Might work..
