Video script

I'm looking for a quality video uploading script similar to YouTube.com. Not a rip off site I'm aiming for, just a themed video site instead of general like YouTube is.

So any other there that isnt crap or has the right features? I've seen some, but I want a more YouTube feel. Also, I'd like the price to be not too much, but can compromise if needed :P

Thanks guys/gals.

One that converts it to the flv?
It would probably be easy to code your own, but it would put a load on the server.
You could look into http://ffmpeg-php.sourceforge.net/ and experiment with that.
Then you'd just need a user system and some other stuff.
You could use http://flowplayer.sourceforge.net/ to play the videos.

You seem to always be one of the helpers for me, Twirp

Thanks, I'll continue my search, but those are great "heads-up" notes.

Yep. Definitely work off FFMPEG for conversion, best to FLV. Making a player for FLV is extremely trivial... drag-n-drop with a tiny bit of actionscript. Easily accomplishable within a trial period of Flash.

Our DLnow YouTube Clone demo runs on dreamhost(you can check that IP),it works very well.... (we have bought a hosting from surpass,we will install a new copy on here for demo, cos surpass is great):

http://2is.net/bak
(new)Multi-Application Server Mode
(new)Multi-Language Support
(new)Classic upload with uploading process bar
(new)Submit Video Embed code from youtube or video.google..etc
(new)Producer Cash Point System
(the videos shown on this site is from the following Single-Application Server indeed)

http://2is.net/mov
(Single-Application Server)

see more details on
http://2is.net/order/order.php

Classic upload with uploading process bar:
see demo site
http://2is.net/bak/

our customer sites as following:
http://xoinks.com
http://minvideo.no
...
other demos
http://2is.net/mtv
http://2is.net/vs

you can upload flv/3gp videos directlly.

many function&feathers have been added by us,such as:
(new)Multi-Application Server Mode
(new)Multi-Language Support
(new)Classic upload with uploading process bar
(new)Producer Cash Point System
flash uploader,
mass upload videos by ftp,
mass videos importer into Database,
xml flv flash player(Flash Ads plugin),
watermark on the uploaded videos (not just overlay logo on the flash player)...etc

We use mplayer&mencoder instead of ffmpeg to convert video to flv,
mencoder support more media file type than ffmpeg.
that means ,you can upload flv,mpg,avi,mpeg,wmv,rm,dat,ra,asf,ogg,3gp,rmvb,mo v,qt,flv,mp4 videos... files directlly

We use ffmpeg(a hacked verison) to add watermark on uploaded video.
you can set everything about watermarking on Admin Section.
If you donot need to make watermark on video ,you donot need to install ffmpeg on server..

We are just developing many other functions to fit our customers need..

Is it just me, or do all these scripts look VERY similar, if not the same script?

http://www.alstrasoft.com/videoshare.htm
http://www.clip-share.com/

I've seen some others with the same layout and features... seems like a sharing loop of scripts being rebranded.
