Creating "portal" using cpanel/email login
I want to create a sort of "portal" to some applications using people's email/cpanel logins.
Is that possible? I don't want a popup window (e.g. using .htaccess), but embedded in the page (e.g. the login page for Squirrelmail). I'm not smart enough to do the programming myself, but if there are any examples out there to modify, I'd appreciate it. |

not sure if its possible to pull out the cpanel logins as they are imbedded in a way to make them only accessible via services that use cpanel, someone else might be able to confirm this though.
Might be worth posting on the cpanel forums as there are a lot more people expert at cpanel there. |

Well, even if there were some way to authenticate using some other method than cpanel... e.g. using the imap server, but that may be asking for more trouble than it's worth... this is all why I'm asking if it's possible.
