Custom CMS
Thought I might as well post this here just incase any of you guys are interested and don't visit any of the other forums that it will be posted on.
Good afternoon, I have a large project for a client that i need completed with the next two months, it is a 4 figure job. If you have the neccessary skills (PHP, MYSQL, XML, JAVA) and are interested please contact me through my sites contact form and I will send the design brief accross. Why a custom one when, for the most part, Joomla or Xoops will exceed your requirements?

Uhh, he didn't say anything about the project scope... how can you make that claim? Chances are, it won't only exceed, but totally crush the requirements... which overkill is often not a good thing.

there are some key reasons we are going for custom, security, manageability, speed, (some of you may have problems with this but sometimes open source is not always the best choice, they currently run open source and want to get away for it, this thread is not for that kind of argument) and as its for a company they want it exactly customized to what they want, as such we are making something completely custom and completely unique for them
